One of the keys to an efficient job search strategy is to build up your own sources of information about the companies you want to target as your potential employer. Proteus provides searchable databases of information on companies, market trends, and information which is available on thousands of jobs from a variety of sources including recruitment agencies, headhunters, advertisements and our personal contacts.

Proteus clients have use of data from our research department including:

The Proteus Jobs Database - containing the majority of jobs advertised in national, regional and local newspapers, and professional journals, vacancies notified during our contacts with headhunters and specialist recruitment consultancies, lists of pre-advertised positions from selection consultancies and unadvertised positions from search agencies. This database, containing in excess of 600,000 job listings a year, is available to clients on our local office PC networks, or from our website via a browser and password protected accounts.

Enterprises Database - one of the main databases for companies and all forms of enterprises. Contains some 200,000 records.

The Proteus Headhunters Database - contains the top 1000 executive selection and headhunter organisations. This is maintained in all offices.
